Usage Data

In contrast with interactively collected Personal Data, Usage Data is collected automatically whenever Our Website is used. We use such Data for maintaining and improving our website.

Unlike CalOPPA (the California Online Privacy Protection Act), the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) extends the definition of "Personal Data" to include Usage Data. So in compliance with the CCPA, we now describe our Usage Data Policy.

When You visit Our Website, Our Website may automatically log the standard Usage Data provided by Your web browser. This data is considered non-identifying information, as it does not personally identify You on its own, and we do nothing to try to identify You from this data. It may include Your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address, Your browser type and version, the pages You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on each page, and other details.

We may also collect data about the Device You are using to access Our Website. This data may include the device type, operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers, the IP address of Your mobile device, device settings, and geo-location data. What we collect can depend on the individual settings of Your device and software. We recommend checking the policies of Your device manufacturer or software provider to learn what information they make available to us.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

Many websites use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track a wide variety of user activity on the website. Our Website uses cookies for one very restricted purpose that is strictly necessary to the functioning of the website: if You are an Aloha Bay Wholesaler who has logged into his or her Retailer Account, cookies are used to remember that, so that our product pages show You discounted prices and enable special volume purchases. Anyone not logged in to a Retailer Account, sees the ordinary prices and has no access to special volume purchases.

You can instruct Your browser to refuse all Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent. However, if You are an Aloha Bay Wholesaler and You do not accept Cookies, You will not be able to receive Wholesaler discounts and You will not be able to make special volume purchases using Our Website.

Cookies can be "Persistent" or "Session" Cookies. Persistent Cookies remain on Your personal computer or mobile device when You go offline, while Session Cookies are deleted as soon as You close Your web browser.

Our Website uses session Cookies only for the restricted purposes we have described: enabling Aloha Bay Retailers to see a different version of each of our product pages (with different price options), and to enable retailers to have access to special pages and materials.

Note: Distinct from Our Website, our ecommerce service provider, Americommerce, also uses session Cookies when you are on their website (e.g., on their shopping cart page or their checkout page) to keep track of the details of Your order.
